2 Function Hospital bed – A detailed preview
2 Function Hospital bed – A detailed preview
Patient care plays a crucial role in recovery. For ward or home care, one-function and two-function beds are preferred. ICU beds accommodate more critical patients. The 2-function model is ideal for post-op care or elderly patients needing extended recovery or bed rest, as it features a leg rest. Beds may be motorised or manual, based on the patient's requirements.
KRAFT offers manual and motorised 2-function beds in different models. The different models perform the same function; only the bed frame changes, which is mostly a selection factor for the hospital based on their needs and budget. The weight-carrying capacity varies by model, as the gauge (thickness) changes, but the function remains the same; it is the cost and the function mode (manual or motorised) that differ. This comes with different head and footer bows; available in different colours to match your surroundings.
Manual beds, such as KRAFT 132, KRAFT 133, and KRAFT 134, are less costly, while the motorised KRAFT 131 is a bit more costly for controlling backrest and leg rest operation with a remote.
Structure
KRAFT 132 features a sturdy frame measuring approximately 2100 mm, 960 mm, and 500 mm. Two attachable bows offer design and colour variety. Side rails are available in stainless steel or aluminium, with or without castors; each 125mm castor includes an independent lock.
The entire frame is epoxy-coated, as standard for hospital beds. The bed supports up to 240 kg.
Installation
The bed is designed for easy assembly and disassembly. All KRAFT beds include simple-assembly cranks; side rails and bows attach to the frame using a basic screw mechanism. View the assembly video below.
